Image 1 is a CT of an asymptomatic 56 year old lady. There is an isolated patch
of dense calcification in the anterior wall of the upper descending aorta - what else is there?
Image 2 is a 3D CT reconstruction of the left ventricle in a 42 year old man, showing with a streak of calcification just below the aortic valve. What caused it? There is a pacing lead in the right ventricle.
