The middle aortic syndrome is a rare but striking pathology. It is probably a non-specific arteritis, narrowing the aorta over a variable length that can include the lower thoracic aorta and the abdominal aorta down to the infra-renal segment. Here, some alleviation has been provided by a jump graft, but the quality of supply to the renal and mesenteric vessels is still suboptimal.
